Hot forged tools

All sockets from 1/2″ to 1” as well as the accessories are hot forged at ELORA. This results in a fibrous structure in the metal without interruption, which runs parallel to the outer shape. Thus, the stresses in the hand-operated tool are reduced to a minimum. At the same time, this increases the tool’s durability and tensile strength by a considerable degree.

This is a very complex process, which requires many years of know-how of our employees. And this is reflected in the quality of our tools!

Thin-walled sockets & hardening process

Our tools are hardened and tempered in a protective atmosphere.

The hardening and tempering of our sockets ensure the special strength and high toughness. The advantage of our particularly thin-walled sockets is that they can be used in very confined spaces.

QUADROLIT®-2C-handle

Many ELORA tools have the QUATROLIT® 2-component-handle developed by us. The ergonomic handle enables efficient work: High bending strength, comfortable handling and a pleasant feel are the decisive characteristics.

Both components are made of skin-friendly and solvent-resistant (oil-resistant) thermoplastic.

The socket program differs in drives from 1/4″ (6.3mm square) to 1″ (25mm square).
In each of these ranges, there are sockets and different types of driving tools like ratchets. Also included are other accessories, such as extension bars, universal joints, handles and many more. The sockets are available in many different types and measurement units, for example 12-point, inside- and outside torx ®, cross-slotted and many more.
